VFR Flight – Mossel Bay (FAMO) to Saldanha (FASD)

East Coast to West Coast via Inland route

Departure is at 19h00 from Mossel Bay (FAMO) heading north to Oudtshoorn (FAOH) then westerly to Laingsburg (FAOG) to turn north to Sutherland (FASL). From here we turn westerly to Calvinia (FAFE) then slighly WSW to Citrusdal (FACI) where we turn SSW to cross Somersveld (FASL) and then NW to Saldanha Vredenburg (FASD) to land.

Note : 6500ft will take us across the three high ground mountains on the route.

    Any suitable aircraft of your choice to cruise at about 150 knots indicated. Distance about 300nm.
