VFR Flight – Somersveld (FALS) to Plettenberg Bay (FAPG)

Snow on the mountains and flowers

Departure is at 19h00 from Somersveld (FALS) Heading SE to Malmesbury |(FANX) then SSE to Paarl (FAPU) then over the mountain to Worcester (FAWC). Now we set of to cross Robertson (FARS) on the way to Swellendam (FASX) and on to Riversdale (FARD) where we turn SE to Stilbaai (FACY).  From here we turn ENE to head for Mossel Bay (FAMO) then northerly to look at Oudtshoorn (FAOH). Now we turn SE and head for Knysna (WP1) on the coast and then we follow the coast to Plettenberg Bay (FAPG) to land.

Note : 5500ft will take us across the few high ground mountains on the route.

    Any suitable aircraft of your choice to cruise at about 140 knots indicated. Distance about 300nm.
